Hello there. We’re happy you’re here. We want to introduce ourselves. I’m Jinney, and she’s Tran. We’re real moms-not influencer moms. We have kids who throw tantrums, wake up in the middle of the night, and don’t eat zucchini. Our homes are rarely picture ready. We are, by no means, experts of any kind. Not even on motherhood. Knowing the research findings and being able to execute them perfectly are entirely different. You won’t see much of us on this site because you’re likely to be a real mom yourself if you’re here. You already know what all that looks like. And, we bet your life is so much more interesting to you.

What you will see on this site, however, is a lot of information-sharing. When we became mothers, we found ourselves having to do things outside our knowledge base. There were many questions, and the amount of research needed to get reliable, evidence-based answers was daunting. Are we saying every mother needs to be educated on the latest research findings? Absolutely not. Most do just fine without it. But that is our main focus here for those who want to know. We want to help make sorting through the facts easier. We know you’re busy; you have kids.

Also, we like doing the research. We’re a little nerdy that way. We’ll never ask you just to trust us. Instead, we will link our citations so you can draw your conclusions. We’ll only use reliable science-backed news sources, peer-reviewed studies and medical journals, information from academic institutions and official government documents. There’s a lot of useful information out there, but it’s time-consuming to sift through and make sense of it all. In addition to our research, we’ll share practical life information, including cooking hacks, how to get through tough times, and which informational websites and bloggers have been the most reliable and useful to us for various topics.

When we became moms, we benefited from resource-sharing with other moms who care about getting evidence-based guidance. We want to facilitate information sharing here. Every topic won’t always be clear cut or have an easy answer, but Such Is Motherhood.
