We love brownies and have tried numerous recipes-both traditional and unconventional. And sometimes, an exceptional recipe will come along. These super easy gluten-free date walnut brownies will surprise you. It’s possible to make a delicious brownie without eggs, flour and sugar. We never would’ve guessed that! They’re moist and richly dense with an intense chocolate flavor, but are naturally sweetened, grain-free, and made with real food ingredients. In other words, it’s a decadent treat that also has nutritional value. Additionally, walnuts provide good fats and cacao contains flavonoids, which fight inflammation. And, the best part? The food processor does all the work, and they bake in no time at all. So, they’re quick, convenient and taste like the real thing rather than a substitute. For people who can’t eat a traditional brownie, these are a game changer.
Sweet Laurel is the duo behind this recipe. It’s a partnership founded by Laurel Gallucci and Claire Thomas. Gallucci’s diagnosis of an aggressive autoimmune disease was the impetus to starting Sweet Laurel, but their recipes are more than healthful. They are delicious because the ladies love good food, as do we!
