Sweet Potato and Carrot Fries, an Easy Side

Sweet Potato and Carrot Fries

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium sweet potatoes
  • 5 to 6 colored carrots
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil or any oil
  • Omnivore salt, or sea salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425° F.
  2. Peel and cut the vegetables into any desired width and length, but be sure not to cut them too thin or they will be too limp to pick up or become chips if overbaked.
  3. Place into a medium-sized bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and toss.
  4. Arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Allow space between each fry. Sprinkle with Omnivore Salt or season with salt and pepper.
  5. Bake for 15-18 mins or until cooked through and edges have browned a bit.
